Chmba News : CBI’s Manmohan Sharma Awarded Police Medal for Meritorious Service
Manmohan Sharma, a native of Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, has been conferred with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of Republic Day 2026 for his dedicated and exemplary service in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

He completed his graduation from Chamba and earned his LLB degree from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, in 1996. He joined the CBI as a Public Prosecutor in 2006. Recognising his professional excellence and commitment, he was promoted to Senior Public Prosecutor in 2015.
In 2024, he was elevated to the post of Deputy Legal Advisor. He is currently serving with the CBI in Chandigarh.
His achievement is a matter of pride for both his home district and the state of Himachal Pradesh.
