Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu took a morning walk through Dharamshala’s Kachehri Bazaar on Thursday, where he paused to interact warmly with local residents.
During his visit, the Chief Minister spoke with the daughter of a vegetable vendor, inquiring about their business. Notably, it was after meeting this same young girl last year that Sukhu had announced a loan-waiver scheme for small shopkeepers in the state budget.
He also chatted briefly with a young girl waiting for a bus at the rain shelter near Kacheri Chowk and exchanged greetings with several passersby.
His informal interactions in the city centre drew considerable attention, with locals praising the Chief Minister’s friendly and approachable manner.
