Visiting the ancestral home of the late Wing Commander Namansh Syal—who lost his life in the Tejas aircraft crash at the Dubai Air Show last week—Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur on Wednesday paid heartfelt tribute to the fallen pilot.
Thakur met the bereaved family in Kangra and expressed deep condolences over the tragic loss. Honouring Syal’s service, the former Union Minister said the nation had lost a brave, committed and exceptionally courageous fighter pilot—“a loss that can never truly be compensated.”
He assured the family that every effort would be made to ensure a fair, thorough and swift investigation into the incident. Thakur added that he is in regular touch with concerned authorities and will continue to follow up at the highest levels so the post-mortem report and other necessary details are provided to the family without delay.
