One Dead After Car Plunges 70 Metres in Rampur, Shimla
A man died after his car fell nearly 70 metres off the road near Khanash Dhar in Shimla’s Rampur subdivision. Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and an investigation is underway.
Man Killed in Car Accident in Rampur, Shimla
A man died after his car (HP 27 A 3990) veered off the road and plunged about 70 metres near Khanash Dhar in the Rampur subdivision of Shimla district.
The deceased has been identified as Kama Dorje, son of Chattar Singh, a resident of Nako village in Kinnaur district.
According to police, the accident took place on Friday when Dorje, who was travelling from Bhadrash to Rohru, lost control of the vehicle near Khanash Dhar. He died at the scene.
Rampur SDPO Naresh Sharma confirmed the incident and said a case has been registered at the Rampur Police Station under Sections 281, 125(A), and 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. Further investigation is underway.
