Orders Demolition of All Floors of Sanjauli Mosque

The Shimla District Court on Friday dismissed the appeals filed by the Himachal Pradesh Waqf Board and the Sanjauli Mosque Committee, directing that all floors of the Sanjauli Mosque be demolished.

The order was passed by Additional District and Sessions Judge Yajvinder Singh, who upheld the earlier decision of the Commissioner’s Court, which had instructed the parties to demolish the remaining two floors of the mosque.

Meanwhile, the Sanjauli Mosque Committee announced that it plans to challenge the verdict in the High Court.
