Cold Wave Grips Himachal Pradesh: Temperatures to Drop by Up to 3°C in Coming Days

A cold wave is expected to persist across Himachal Pradesh, with temperatures likely to fall by up to 3°C over the next few days, according to the state’s meteorological department. The weather is expected to remain dry throughout the state until November 2.

During the past 24 hours, the weather remained mostly dry with clear skies across the state. In the capital, Shimla, the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.4°C, while prominent tourist destinations Dharamshala and Manali registered 13.8°C and 5.4°C, respectively.

Minimum temperatures were recorded at 10°C in Solan, 12.6°C in Kangra, 13.6°C in Mandi, 14.9°C in Bilaspur, 12.5°C in Hamirpur, 7.1°C in Kufri, 14.8°C in Nahan, 9.1°C in Bhuntar, 6°C in Narkanda, 6.6°C in Reckong Peo, and 3.8°C in Kalpa.

With a maximum temperature of 30.7°C, Una remained the warmest location in the state, while Keylong, the district headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti, was the coldest at -0.2°C.
