Mongolian Prime Minister Resigns After Just Four Months in Office
China’s state broadcaster reported on Friday that Mongolia’s Prime Minister Gombojav Zandanshatar has resigned, only four months after taking office.
Zandanshatar had been confirmed as the country’s new prime minister by Mongolian lawmakers earlier this year, following the resignation of his predecessor Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene, who stepped down after losing parliamentary support amid corruption allegations and widespread street protests.
