China’s Industry Minister Meets Apple CEO Tim Cook in Beijing

China’s Minister of Industry and Information Technology, Li Lecheng, met with Apple CEO Tim Cook in Beijing on Wednesday, according to a statement released by the ministry.

During the meeting, Li said China hopes Apple (AAPL.O) will continue to strengthen its presence in the Chinese market. He added that China remains committed to creating a favorable business environment for Apple and other foreign companies operating in the country.
