15 Injured as Bus Plunges Into Gorge Near Solan

At least 15 people were injured on Monday after a private bus veered off the road and rolled into a gorge near Luharghat, close to the Solan–Bilaspur district border.

The injured passengers were taken to AIIMS Bilaspur for treatment, officials said.

According to initial reports, the bus was carrying passengers from Bashla village in Bilaspur district to Ramshehar in Solan for a wedding ceremony when the driver lost control of the vehicle on a sharp turn, causing it to overturn.

Hearing the passengers’ cries for help, local residents rushed to the spot and assisted in rescuing the injured and transporting them to hospital.
