On Wednesday, the FAA said it had grounded United Airlines (UAL.O) flights citing a technical problem, affecting operations at airports in both the U.S. and Canada.

United Airlines did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.

In a status update, the regulator said the suspension would remain in effect until 0700 GMT.

This comes just about a month after a similar glitch in August forced United Airlines to halt flights at major U.S. airports including Newark, Denver, Houston, and Chicago, causing widespread delays across its network. That disruption was resolved within a few hours.
