DuPont Projects $6.9 Billion in Net Sales for 2025 Following Spin-Off of Covation

DuPont (DD.N) on Thursday projected net sales of about $6.87 billion for 2025, adjusting its forecast to reflect the planned spin-off of its electronics unit and the divestiture of its aramids business.

The revised outlook excludes results from Covation Electronics, which will be separated on November 1, and from the aramids division, which will be reported as discontinued operations starting in the third quarter.

Last month, the chemical manufacturer announced it would sell its heat-resistant aramids fiber business—home to brands such as Kevlar, widely used in body armor—to Arclin for $1.8 billion. The move is part of DuPont’s broader restructuring efforts.
