Kangana Ranaut Performs Havan in Mandi, Claims Central Government Has Provided ₹10,000 Crore Aid to Himachal Pradesh

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stated that the ceremony was organized to seek divine blessings for the welfare of Himachal Pradesh and the nation.
Kangana Ranaut, Member of Parliament from Mandi and a renowned Bollywood actress, performed a havan at the Siddhkali Temple in Mandi today, praying for the well-being of the state and the country. The religious ritual was part of the BJP’s initiative to promote peace, prosperity, and protection from natural disasters.
Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur also attended the event and participated in the havan. The BJP clarified that the ceremony was conducted with the objective of invoking spiritual blessings for Himachal Pradesh and the country.
Speaking to the media, Kangana claimed that the central government has so far provided approximately ₹10,000 crore in financial assistance to the Himachal Pradesh government. She emphasized the commitment of the Centre to support the state, particularly during times of natural calamities.
When asked about her absence from the flood-affected areas of her constituency, Mandi, during the recent monsoon devastation, Kangana responded that she had been engaged in serving people at the national level.
She said, “I have been working continuously for the welfare of my constituency. In Delhi, I met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and several other central ministers to request financial aid for those affected by floods, especially the people of the Mandi region.”
On the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, she extended her heartfelt wishes, stating, “With Modi, everything is possible.”
