3 Killed in Shimla Landslides After Heavy Rain
Heavy overnight rainfall in Shimla district triggered landslides that claimed three lives.
In Mohal Jot village of Junga tehsil, Virendra Kumar (35) and his 10-year-old daughter were buried when a landslide struck their house. His wife survived as she happened to be outside at the time. Several cattle were also killed in the incident.
In a separate incident, an elderly woman was buried inside her home following a landslide in Chol village of Kotkhai area.
