According to the State Emergency Operations Centre, three national highways are among the 821 roads currently blocked, while at least 1,236 power distribution transformers remain out of service.

The State Meteorological Department has issued a red weather alert for Chamba, Sirmaur, Solan, and Bilaspur districts, warning of continued heavy rainfall in the coming hours. This raises the likelihood of landslides in vulnerable zones and waterlogging in low-lying areas.
For Shimla, its surrounding regions, and the rest of the state, an orange alert has been issued, indicating the possibility of heavy rainfall in some areas over the next few hours.
