Governor Releases Poetry Anthology ‘Dairo Se Pare’ at Raj Bhavan

Shimla, August 20 — Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla released the poetry anthology ‘Dairo Se Pare’ at Raj Bhavan. The anthology has been edited by noted poet and Principal of Government College Ani, Dr. Kunwar Dinesh Singh.
The collection features 67 poems, ghazals, and short stories penned by 11 eminent contemporary Hindi writers, including Dr. Giriraj Sharan Agrawal, Hariram Sameep, Girish Pankaj, Rameshwar Kamboj Himanshu, Ashok Shah, Dr. Shivji Srivastava, Subodh Nirav, Sukesh Sahni, Harbhagwan Chawla, Anand Neema, along with contributions from Dr. Singh himself.
This edition also carries insightful forewords written by Dr. Lal Chand Gupta ‘Mangal’, Senior Fellow of the Ministry of Culture, and the Head of the Hindi Department at Kurukshetra University.
Appreciating the creative efforts of the editor and contributing poets, the Governor said such literary works enrich the cultural fabric of society. He added that ‘Dairo Se Pare’ would inspire readers, particularly the younger generation, to explore and appreciate the depth and diversity of Hindi literature.
Dr. Kunwar Dinesh Singh has been honored with several literary awards, including the Himachal Pradesh Sahitya Akademi Award. He has authored over 35 books spanning poetry, short stories, haiku, criticism, and literary reviews. His works are studied and researched at universities across India.
