₹2 Crore OTA-NOTA Payment Released for HRTC Drivers and Conductors: Deputy Chief Minister
Shimla, August 12 – Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said today that several key decisions concerning the demands of the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) Drivers’ Union have been implemented immediately following the union’s recent meeting. He announced that the state government has released ₹2 crore this month towards one month’s overtime allowance and night overtime allowance (OTA-NOTA) for drivers and conductors.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasised that safeguarding the interests of employees and pensioners remains the government’s top priority, and that their grievances will be addressed in a timely manner. He also commended Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Gandhi and his team for their commendable work in swiftly rescuing three kidnapped schoolchildren. The children were safely reunited with their families within 24 hours of the incident.
