Youth Arrested in Nalagarh for Possessing Unlicensed Pistol; FIR Registered

Solan, August 8
A team from the Nalagarh Police Station, while patrolling in New Nalagarh, stopped a Maruti Alto K10 (HP-12H-9110) for inspection. During the search, the officers recovered a pistol, a magazine, and one live round from the vehicle’s dashboard.

The accused was identified as Amit Saini, son of Ravindra Singh, a resident of Bhatiyan village, Nalagarh Tehsil, Solan district. He was unable to produce a valid license for the recovered firearm.

Police arrested him on the spot and registered a case under the Arms Act. Further investigation is underway.
