Three Youths Killed, One Injured as Car Plunges into Pabbar River in Rohru

Shimla, August 6:
A tragic road accident occurred in the Rohru region of Himachal Pradesh’s capital, Shimla, early Wednesday morning. A car carrying four young men veered off the road and plunged into the Pabbar River near Chirgaon. Three of the occupants died on the spot, while one sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. Preliminary reports suggest that the vehicle may have skidded due to poor weather conditions. Efforts are underway to retrieve the vehicle from the river.
Landslide in Shimla’s Tutikandi Area Disrupts Traffic
In another weather-related incident, a landslide near the Tutikandi bus stand in Shimla brought down a tree onto the road, disrupting vehicular movement. Currently, traffic is moving in only one direction. Authorities are working to clear the tree and restore normal traffic flow.
