HPRCA: Result for Post Code-970 to Be Declared — New Instructions Issued

Hamirpur, July 30:
The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur, has issued an important public notice regarding the Junior Engineer (Civil) recruitment under Post Code-970. The Commission will soon declare the results for 10 candidates (Gen(UR)-6, EWS-1, OBC(UR)-3) and move forward with the process to appoint them in the Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department (HPPWD).

This decision refers to a previous public notice dated July 10, 2024, which stated that the relevant posts were being withdrawn due to the abolition of the engineering wing in the Forest Department. At the time, 11 posts had been cancelled.

However, the Chief Secretary of the state government has now issued a clarification through a letter dated July 23, 2025, confirming that the 10 successful candidates from the exam conducted by the erstwhile Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC) will be accommodated in the HPPWD. It is worth noting that one post under the SC(UR) category will not be included in this process.

Results to Be Announced Soon

According to the official statement, the HPRCA will soon release the results for the JE (Civil) recruitment, Post Code-970, and forward the names of the 10 selected candidates to the Public Works Department for appointment.

This public notice has been shared with the Director, Information and Public Relations Department, Shimla; the District Public Relations Officer, Hamirpur; the Deputy Director (IT) for website publication; and local media representatives in Hamirpur for necessary dissemination.
