Chandigarh, July 27:
In a heartfelt display of social responsibility, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (HPTDC) organized a successful blood donation camp on Sunday at Himachal Bhawan, Sector 28-B, Chandigarh. The camp, held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, saw enthusiastic participation from HPTDC staff, tourists, and local residents.

Inspiring Theme – “Donate Blood, Save Lives – Be the Hero in Someone’s Story”

The powerful and uplifting theme encouraged many to come forward and contribute to this noble cause. Donors were provided with free health checkups, refreshments, and certificates of appreciation as a token of gratitude.

Leadership and Support

The initiative was organized under the visionary leadership of HPTDC Chairman R.S. Bali and with the active support of Managing Director Dr. Rajeev Kumar, both of whom believe in integrating tourism with community service. Their ongoing efforts aim to make HPTDC a more socially responsible organization.

Gratitude from Officials

The event was attended by Sandeep Thakur, Assistant General Manager of HPTDC at Himachal Bhawan Chandigarh, along with Mahender Singh Chauhan and other staff members. Expressing gratitude, Mr. Thakur said,

“A single unit of blood can save a life. We are proud to have hosted this camp and are deeply thankful to all donors and volunteers.”

This blood donation drive not only served as a lifeline for those in need but also strengthened the spirit of community and shared responsibility. HPTDC reiterated its commitment to continuing such socially-driven initiatives in the future, aiming to promote tourism that is not only enjoyable but also inclusive, responsible, and community-oriented.
