Shimla, July 23:
In a gesture of solidarity and compassion, JCB Public School Khalini, Shimla, has contributed ₹31,000 towards relief efforts for families affected by the recent natural disaster in Mandi district. The cheque was handed over to former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur by the school’s Principal, Rajesh Sharma, on behalf of the school management, staff, and parents.

Expressing his gratitude, Jai Ram Thakur thanked JCB Public School for its noble contribution. He noted that several areas in Mandi district have suffered severe damage due to the disaster, leaving many families homeless. “In these difficult times, generous contributions like these are vital in supporting those affected,” he said.

Principal Rajesh Sharma also praised the former Chief Minister for personally visiting the disaster-hit regions on foot and offering moral support to the victims. He extended his heartfelt thanks to the school’s staff and parents for coming together to raise funds and stand by the affected families in their time of need.
