Seven BDOs Promoted to HPAS, Fresh Postings Announced

Shimla, July 5:
The Himachal Pradesh government has promoted seven Block Development Officers (BDOs) to the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS). The Department of Personnel has issued a formal notification in this regard. According to the notification, the promoted officers have been appointed to HPAS in Level-18 pay scale (₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month) on a regular basis. These promotions were made based on the recommendations of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission and the Departmental Promotion Committee.

The promoted officers have also been assigned new postings under the administrative service. As per the notification:

  • Kalyani Gupta has been posted as Project Officer, ITDP, Keylong (Lahaul-Spiti) and will also hold additional charge as ADC Lahaul-Spiti.

  • Jagdeep Singh has been appointed as ADC Kangra.

  • Abhishek Mittal will serve as SDM, Bharmour (Chamba district).

  • Kirti Chandel has been posted as SDM, Dodra Kwar.

  • Jaibanti Devi has been appointed as ADC Kullu.

  • Chanderveer Singh will serve as SDM, Salooni.

  • Om Prakash has been appointed SDM (Civil), Kafota (Sirmaur district).

The government has clarified that these promotions will be considered effective from the date the notification was issued. All officers have been instructed to submit their pay fixation options within one month.

The orders were issued by Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena.
