A two-day capacity-building workshop organized by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, commenced on Friday at a private hotel in Pandoh. The workshop is being conducted under the aegis of the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Pandoh, and has drawn 115 participants from 30 institutions across the country.

The workshop was formally inaugurated by Prof. Vaidya Ravinayaran Acharya, Director General of the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), and Deputy Director (Administration) Deepak Kochar. They shared that the workshop is specifically designed for administrative officers and staff involved in managing institutional operations. Over the course of two days, participants will be trained on improving transparency and efficiency in administrative functions.

The officials emphasized that various government orders and policies are implemented through administrative channels, making it essential for the personnel involved to have a clear and comprehensive understanding of these directives. The workshop aims to equip them with the necessary knowledge to ensure better execution of their duties.

Dr. Vinita Kumari Negi, In-charge of the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Pandoh, expressed gratitude to the Ministry for entrusting her institute with the responsibility of hosting this significant event. She noted the active participation of 115 officers and staff members and expressed hope that the institute would continue to be considered for such responsibilities in the future.
