Administrative Reshuffle in Himachal: 13 Officers Transferred and Appointed
Shimla, June 12:
The Himachal Pradesh government has announced a fresh round of administrative reshuffle, transferring and appointing a total of 13 officers, including one from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and twelve from the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HAS). The Department of Personnel issued the official orders on Thursday, and the changes take immediate effect.
As per the notification, IAS officer Gursimar Singh, who was awaiting posting after being transferred from Jawali in Kangra district, has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director, DRDA, Mandi.
HAS officer Rohit Rathore, currently serving in the same DRDA post in Mandi while holding additional charge as Commissioner of Mandi Municipal Corporation, has now been given full-time responsibility as Municipal Commissioner.
Aparajita Chandel has been transferred from her current role as Assistant Commissioner in Hamirpur and appointed as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil), Salooni, in Chamba district. Similarly, SDM of Gohar (Mandi district), Lakshman Singh Kanet, has been posted as SDM, Anni, in Kullu district.
Narendra Singh has been appointed as SDM, Jawali. Additionally, officers from the HAS 2024 batch who were awaiting postings have now been assigned their respective roles:

Himani – Assistant Commissioner (Development)-cum-BDO, Chohara Block, Shimla

Anubhav Tanwar – Chamba Block, Chamba district

Kartikeya Dogra – Nankhari Block, Shimla district

Karnveer Singh – Kupvi Block, Shimla district

Neha Negi – Sangrah Block, Sirmaur district

Yogesh Kumar – Pangi Block, Chamba district
In addition to the transfers, two officers have been given additional responsibilities:

Rajeev Thakur, HPAS (2020), currently serving as Under Secretary at the Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission in Hamirpur, will now also oversee the duties ranging from Assistant Commissioner to Deputy Commissioner, Hamirpur.

The Tehsildar of Gohar has been given additional charge as SDM, Chachyot.
These changes, signed off by Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, have been made in the public interest and come into effect immediately.
