Video of Aerial Firing in Parwanoo Goes Viral, FIR Registered

An incident of aerial firing with a pistol has come to light in Parwanoo, district Solan, after a video of the act surfaced on social media. The video, which shows a young man firing shots into the air, was spotted by a local resident who subsequently reported it to the police.

According to the complainant, a resident of Kasauli tehsil, the footage was posted on a Facebook page named “Parwanoo Ki Awaaz.” The video appears to have been shot near a restaurant in the Chakki Morh area. Disturbed by the reckless behavior, the individual lodged a formal complaint at the Parwanoo Police Station.

Police officials stated that the firing not only violates firearms laws but also posed a serious threat to the safety of those present at the scene. Based on the complaint, an FIR has been registered under Section 25(1B)(i) of the Arms Act and Section 125 of the Indian Penal Code. Authorities are currently investigating the incident to identify the person in the video, verify whether the weapon used was licensed or illegal, and determine the exact location of the incident.

The Parwanoo police have urged the public to report any such unlawful or dangerous behavior immediately so that timely and appropriate action can be taken.
