Bilaspur, May 9: In light of the rising tensions between India and Pakistan, the Bilaspur district administration has issued a precautionary advisory prioritizing public safety. District Magistrate Rahul Kumar has urged residents to ensure a complete blackout in their respective areas to minimize visibility in the event of a potential aerial threat.

As per the advisory, all outdoor lighting and any indoor lights visible from outside must be switched off during nighttime hours. Citizens are also advised to remain in secure, sheltered locations and avoid unnecessary travel.

The administration has further requested a halt in vehicular movement during night hours to ensure that security and emergency response agencies can operate without obstruction.

This advisory has been issued in the interest of public safety, and the administration has called for strict compliance from all residents. Emphasizing the importance of cooperation, the district authorities stated that vigilance and restraint are the most effective safeguards in the current circumstances.
