Nalagarh, May 6: A devastating fire broke out early Friday morning at a Turpentine and Beroza manufacturing factory in Kosari village, located in the Ramshahr area of Nalagarh sub-division in Himachal Pradesh. Two migrant workers, identified as Shiv Kumar and Arjun Kumar, tragically lost their lives after being severely burned in the incident.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire erupted between 3 and 4 a.m. while most workers were asleep in their quarters on the factory premises. Some managed to escape in time, but unfortunately, the two victims were unable to get out and were caught in the blaze.

Police and fire department teams rushed to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control after an intense effort. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the fire. Meanwhile, the factory premises have been sealed, and the bodies have been sent for postmortem.

Authorities have assured the families of the deceased that all necessary support will be provided.
