Mandi, April 22 – BJP’s chief spokesperson and Sundernagar MLA Rakesh Jamwal has claimed that every time BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda visits Himachal Pradesh, it unsettles Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister, and other Congress leaders.

Jamwal stated that Nadda recently visited Chamba district on a two-day tour during which he reviewed various central government schemes and laid out a roadmap for future development in the region. “Immediately after his visit, the Chief Minister, Deputy CM, and Congress leaders began dismissing it as a political trip,” he said.

Calling Nadda the only leader who has consistently secured significant aid from the Centre for the state, Jamwal said, “The contributions made by Jagat Prakash Nadda towards Himachal’s development are never acknowledged by the state government. Major schemes and projects are being implemented through central support, but the state’s leadership continues to ignore and downplay them.”

Jamwal, who also serves as BJP State General Secretary, further criticized the state government for blaming the Centre for its financial woes. “On one hand, the CM and his ministers claim they’re getting nothing from the Centre. On the other, they publicly share details of central assistance on social media. This contradiction clearly shows that misleading the public has become a habit,” he added.

He advised the Chief Minister to focus on the state’s development instead of engaging in political rhetoric. “It would be better for Himachal if the government focused less on false narratives and more on delivering results,” Jamwal said.
