Wish Fulfilled by the Grace of Maa Chintapurni: Delhi Devotee Offers 1.25 Kg Silver Chattar
Expression of Gratitude Turns into a Grand Offering at Himachal’s Sacred Shaktipeeth
Una, April 15 – A heartwarming example of devotion and faith was witnessed on Monday at the revered Maa Chintapurni temple in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district. In a gesture of deep gratitude, Anand Vishisht, a devotee from Delhi, offered a meticulously crafted 1.25-kilogram silver chattar at the holy shrine after his wish was fulfilled. The umbrella, worth over ₹2 lakh in market value, now adorns the sanctum of the temple, adding new splendor to the sacred Pindi of Maa Chintapurni.
Speaking on the occasion, Anand shared, “Maa Chintapurni has always protected and blessed our family. Every wish we prayed for was fulfilled. This offering is just a small token of our boundless gratitude.”
The Maa Chintapurni temple, one of the most important Shaktipeeths in the country, attracts lakhs of devotees annually. As part of a long-standing tradition, devotees often make precious offerings upon the fulfillment of their wishes — not only in cash but also in the form of symbolic and valuable gifts like jewelry, ornaments, and now, silver umbrellas.
Temple authorities revealed that the silver chattar will now be a part of daily rituals and enhance the spiritual ambiance of the temple. Crafted with intricate designs, the umbrella stands as a reminder that true devotion transcends material value.
This act of faith has inspired many other devotees present at the temple. The belief remains strong — when devotion is pure, blessings are inevitable.
