Hamirpur, April 14:
A pre-wedding celebration turned into a nightmare in Rakkar village near Bharmoti, under the Nadaun subdivision of Himachal Pradesh’s Hamirpur district, when a swarm of wild bumblebees attacked a family during a temple visit. The incident left 25 people injured, including the groom, children, women, and elderly members.
The affected family, headed by Dilip Singh of Karaur village, had gone to the Guga temple to offer prayers ahead of the wedding of his son Naveen. As the group was returning after the puja and prasad distribution, they were suddenly swarmed by wild bumblebees near the temple premises.
