Kangana Ranaut Slams Congress for ‘Vote Bank Politics’ Using Ambedkar’s Name
Says Ambedkar Faced Humiliation Under Congress, Bharat Ratna Came Only in BJP Rule
Sundernagar, April 14:
On the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Bollywood actress and Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut made a strong political statement against the Congress Party, accusing it of using Dr. Ambedkar’s name and the Constitution for vote bank politics.
Addressing a gathering at Baldwara in Sarkaghat Assembly constituency, Kangana said, “Congress leaders today raise the Constitution and Ambedkar’s name for votes, but history shows they humiliated him repeatedly.” She alleged that Dr. Ambedkar was forced to resign during the Congress regime due to continuous insults, and added that he was “removed from the cabinet because Nehru couldn’t tolerate anyone else being more knowledgeable about the nation.”
Kangana asserted that it was not the Congress, but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that finally honored Ambedkar with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award.
“Congress Has Ruined Devbhoomi,” Says Kangana
The MP also launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led Himachal Pradesh government, alleging a rise in crime and drug abuse.
“Himachal, once known as Devbhoomi, is now witnessing increasing crime due to Congress’s misgovernance,” she said, adding that BJP-ruled states like Uttar Pradesh have shown real improvement under strong leadership.
Kangana called upon the people to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) and urged citizens to “unite and fulfill this dream.”
