Dharamshala, April 11: Cricket fever is set to grip the scenic town of Dharamshala as it gears up to host three thrilling TATA IPL T20 matches on May 4, 8, and 11 at the picturesque Dharamshala Cricket Stadium. In a key meeting held on Thursday, Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa assured that top-tier facilities will be provided to both players and spectators to make the event a grand success.
The meeting, conducted between district officials and HPCA representatives, focused on intensifying preparations. “All necessary arrangements for traffic, security, health, power, and water supply are being put in place to ensure a seamless match experience,” said Bairwa.
Law enforcement and safety are receiving high priority. SSP Shalini Agnihotri presented a detailed traffic and security blueprint, while DC Bairwa emphasized timely repair of roads, efficient parking zones, clean surroundings, and clearly marked signboards to guide fans to the stadium.
AC2DC also revealed that special attention is being given to fire safety, with mandatory inspections and emergency protocols being enforced. Public Works and Municipal Corporation teams have been directed to finalize infrastructure work in time.
With the majestic Dhauladhar range as the backdrop and passionate crowds expected to pour in, Dharamshala is ready to deliver IPL magic this May.
