Shimla, April 9:

Political tension is rising in Himachal Pradesh as the BJP intensifies its efforts to challenge the Congress government. During a recent active member conference held in Shimla, BJP MP from Shimla Lok Sabha, Suresh Kashyap, made a bold statement, suggesting that a BJP government could be formed in the state “anytime.”

Kashyap, who is also the former state president of the BJP, sharply criticized the current Congress-led government, accusing them of severely weakening the state’s economy. He alleged that the government was relying heavily on loans, which would burden future generations, and that the economic situation was deteriorating under Congress rule.

The BJP MP also voiced concern over the rising law and order issues in Himachal, claiming that a “mafia rule” was thriving in the state, causing distress to the common people. He further pointed out that while the BJP runs majority governments in 13 states across the country, the people of Himachal Pradesh are now turning towards the BJP for hope and change.

Highlighting the party’s strength, Kashyap revealed that the BJP has 18 lakh members in Himachal Pradesh, with 27,000 active members working across the state. The active member conference, according to Kashyap, was aimed at uniting party workers and discussing future strategies for the upcoming elections.

He expressed confidence that the people of Himachal were disillusioned with the Congress government’s failures and had decided that the next government in the state would be formed by the BJP. Kashyap emphasized the party’s strong organizational structure, with workers consistently engaging with the public at the grassroots level.

Other BJP leaders and party workers present at the event also expressed their dissatisfaction with the current government’s performance, reiterating the need for a change in leadership. The conference saw substantial participation from Shimla Lok Sabha constituency, signaling growing public support for the BJP.
