Shimla, March 25: The Shimla Police Department has announced a revised schedule for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the ongoing Police Constable (Female and Male) Recruitment. The tests will now be conducted from April 1 to April 11, 2025, at the Police Ground in Bharari. A press release issued by the Superintendent of Police Shimla confirmed the updated dates and other essential details for candidates.

The revised schedule comes after the earlier dates were changed. Female candidates, who were initially scheduled to take the test between March 11 and March 15, will now appear from April 1 to April 4. Similarly, male candidates, whose test dates were set for March 16 to March 22, will now be tested from April 5 to April 11.

The Superintendent of Police’s office emphasized that the candidates must follow the new roll numbers and appear for the exams according to the updated timetable. The female candidates whose roll numbers fall between 22025746 to 22026545 will be tested on April 1, followed by the candidates with roll numbers 22026546 to 22027745 on April 2, 22027746 to 22028945 on April 3, and 22028946 to 22030188 on April 4.

For male candidates, the revised schedule starts from April 5. The examination for male candidates with roll numbers from 21060965 to 21062164 will take place on April 5, followed by those with roll numbers 21062165 to 21063364 on April 6, 21063365 to 21064564 on April 7, 21064565 to 21065764 on April 8, 21065765 to 21066964 on April 9, 21066965 to 21068164 on April 10, and finally, candidates with roll numbers from 21068165 to 21069316 will be tested on April 11.

The tests will take place at 6 AM every day at the Police Line Bharari, and candidates have been advised to arrive on time. The Superintendent of Police also clarified that candidates should bring their previously issued admit cards with them to the venue. No new admit cards will be issued, and candidates without their original admit cards will not be allowed to participate in the examination.

This revised schedule has been implemented to ensure transparency and proper organization of the recruitment process, following instructions from the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. The police have urged candidates to follow the updated schedule strictly to avoid any confusion or last-minute issues. In addition to the admit cards, candidates should also carry any other documents that may be required, as per the recruitment guidelines.

With this updated schedule, the Shimla Police aim to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process, providing all candidates with a fair opportunity to participate in the tests. The recruitment drive is an important initiative for strengthening the police force, and the authorities are keen to maintain a transparent and organized selection process.
