HPU released Counseling Dates for skill and short duration courses

Shimla, February 27: The Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) has announced the counselling schedule for the short-term, add-on and skill development certificate course for the academic session 2024-25. Through the email, the university’s Dean of Studies office has shared a notice concerning their counseling, admission and course commencement dates of these courses, which are expected to endow learners with useful expertise and skills in a forefront manner.
The courses will be merit-based and will allow students to build relevant qualifications to gain a competitive advantage in their chosen field. Counseling Process Date: Counseling will be started from 1st of March 2025. Interested/ Eligible students can contest in the counseling process before this date. According to the university, it will judge the admission for only those candidates who will come for the counseling in the stipulated time.
Notably, March 6, 2025 has been fixed as a deadline for admission to these courses. It is the last date for students to reserve a seat in the courses for the session 2024-25. From this deadline onwards no more application will be entertained, Hence prospective candidates are advised to complete all the needed procedures before this date.
The classes for all selected courses will start from 10 March 2025 in order to continue on the academic journey of students in a smooth manner. This will entail this will be the starting of studies for those students who take admissions as it will provide an opportunity to dive into their respective fields that offers practical experience as well as in the academics.
