24th Inter-CPSU Cricket Tournament of SJVN Kick Off in Chandigarh: Six Exciting Days of Contest
Shimla, Feb 22 – The much-awaited 24th Inter-CPSU Cricket Tournament, organised by SJVN (Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited) under the aegis of the Power Sports Control Board (PSCB), Ministry of Power, Government of India, kicked off today in Chandigarh with hues and jubilation. The mega event named the ‘1st National Tournament of CPSU Power Sector teams’ is being held from February 22 to 27, 2025, and teams from a large number of Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) of power sector has participated in the event. This event is a great way to promote team work, competitiveness and camaraderie among energy professionals.
The tournament was formally inaugurated by Sanjay Sood, Chief General Manager (Finance) of SJVN, in a grand opening ceremony at the tournament venue. Inauguration was also attended by Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Head of SJVN Punjab Solar Power Projects, and numerous senior members from SJVN.
