Una News: Income Tax Department raids Mubarakpur’s inverter battery industry, team scrutinizing records
Una, January 29: An inverter battery manufacturing industry located in Mubarakpur of Una district has been raided by a team of Income Tax Department from Delhi. Income Tax officials who arrived from Delhi reached the industry premises at around 10 am on Wednesday and the investigation was going on in the industry premises till late evening. No one is being allowed to enter the industry premises nor is anyone being allowed to go out.
Not only this, as soon as they entered the gate, the mobile phones of all the staff working in the industry were switched off. It is being told that the officials who came from Delhi are scrutinizing all the records of the industry. Along with the bills of goods going out of the industry, even the bills of raw materials coming here are being checked. Till late evening, the Income Tax Department officials were stationed in the industry and did not allow any employee of the industry to talk to anyone.
