Shimla, January 28: BJP state president Rajeev Bindal has accused Congress leaders of dividing the country in the name of caste and religion.

In a statement issued from Shimla, Bindal said that the organization of Kumbh and Mahakumbh is a demonstration of unity in diversity of various kinds, but it is unfortunate that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has raised questions on this.

Bindal said that till date India is moving towards becoming a developed nation, while the Congress party is working to take the country backwards.
