District Food Department Officer Shravan Kumar
(Solan) Himachal Pradesh, Kumud Sharma, January 24: The process of removing names from ration cards due to lack of E-KYC in ration cards is continuing in the state. In Solan too, names of about 53,000 people have been removed from ration cards and due to this, now these people will not be able to get ration in fair price shops.
District Food Department Officer Shravan Kumar said that people should ensure E-KYC of their ration cards as soon as possible and for this, consumers can also do E-KYC through the app through their mobile.
Shravan Kumar (District Food Department Officer) told Diary Times that, “I would like to appeal to the people of Solan district that those ration cards in which E-KYC has not been done by their family members, they should get their E-KYC done as soon as possible.
There are many options available for this, in which they can also get their E-KYC done by going to Fair Price Shop (FPS) which is the ration card depot.
Apart from this, our app is available on Play Store, E-KYC PDS HP, by downloading it from Play Store, a person can get his E-KYC done at his home as well.”
