Kinnaur: People are getting E-KYC of land done in the district, E-KYC of land owners' accounts is being done
(Kinnaur) Himachal Pradesh, Sourabh Jaiswal, January 23: In Himachal Pradesh, the Revenue Department is doing E-KYC of land owners. This process is also being completed in the tribal district Kinnaur. Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur Amit Kumar Sharma said that these days the process of E-KYC is going on in the Halka Patwar Khanas near the concerned land owners.
He told that E-KYC of the land accounts of thirty-three thousand nine hundred ninety land owners is to be done in the district, out of which E-KYC of the accounts of thirteen thousand three hundred land owners has been completed so far.
He has appealed to all the land owners of the district to go to their nearest Halka Patwari and get the E-KYC process completed.
Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur Amit Kumar Sharma told Diary Times that, “Our E-KYC is being done on monitory basis by the revenue department. In Kinnaur, we have seen that we have around 33,999 accounts and around 13,300 accounts, which means we have already done E-KYC of people related to approximately 40% accounts. This process is being done across the state. In Himachal, on an average, 26% of our accounts have been E-KYCed. In Kinnaur, the revenue department people are working for us. In the meetings that the patwaris are holding for our work, we currently stand at 40%.”
