Dharamshala: BJP protests during Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's program, allegations of step-motherly treatment with Dharamshala
(Dharamshala) Himachal Pradesh, Kumud Sharma, January 23: BJP workers staged a protest during the program organized in Dari, Dharamshala. BJP workers alleged that they were prevented from meeting the Chief Minister and the Chief Minister deliberately does not want to talk to them.
BJP workers alleged that Dharamshala is being treated step-motherly and the 30 crore rupees given for the Central University are also not being released.
A BJP worker told Diary Times that, “It has been a dream for the youth of the state and Dharamshala. We will deposit 30 crore rupees and the work of Central University will start. We had humbly requested the Honorable Chief Minister that these are disciplined people here. We were waiting for them there. The Honorable Chief Minister changed his route out of fear of us. They changed their path and misled us there. The Bharatiya Janata Party decided that we will go door-to-door in Dharamshala and collect thirty crore rupees as donation for Sudhir Sharma’s dream of a Central University and the dream of the unemployed for a Central University and hand it over to the state government and the honourable Chief Minister, respected Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu ji.”
