Allegations of Development Stagnation and Corruption
Subhash Mangalet stated that the development in the Chaupal constituency has come to a standstill due to widespread corruption, causing immense hardships for the local population. He specifically highlighted the issue of road tarring, pointing out that the roads were resurfaced in December under questionable circumstances. According to Mangalet, former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur had previously exposed these irregularities, confirming the allegations of corruption.

People in Chaupal Facing Severe Issues
Mangalet also expressed concern over the severe lack of basic amenities for the people of Chaupal. He noted that the shortage of buses is one of the key issues troubling the residents, with the local officials seemingly indifferent to these pressing problems. He claimed that despite the ongoing issues, the government has failed to take any significant steps to resolve them.

Raising Issues in the Legislative Assembly
Subhash Mangalet also pointed out that the BJP MLA from Chaupal has raised these concerns regarding corruption on various platforms, including the assembly. He further stated that the BJP is committed to pushing for a full inquiry into these matters. Mangalet assured that the party would continue to fight for the rights of the people of Chaupal and ensure that these corruption allegations are thoroughly investigated.

Conclusion: Call for Accountability
With the development in Chaupal stalled and the common people bearing the brunt of these administrative failures, Mangalet’s call for an inquiry into the alleged corruption comes at a critical time. As the issue gains traction, it remains to be seen how the state government will respond to these mounting allegations. The residents of Chaupal are hopeful that the investigation will bring about much-needed transparency and justice for the community.
