Solan: On 4th February, 11 schools of the district will be honoured with ‘Green Award’ in Delhi
Solan, Sourabh Jaiswal: On February 4, 11 schools of Solan district will be honored with ‘Green Award’ in Delhi, which also includes Boys Senior Secondary School of Nalagarh.
These awards will be given for better work towards environmental protection. Directorate of Education had invited applications for this, in which Senior Secondary School of Nalagarh has also been selected.
On February 4, in Delhi, schools selected under the Green School initiative will be honored under a program.
There is a lot of enthusiasm among the school administration and children after the school was selected for the third consecutive time.
Environment coordinator of Nalagarh school, Ranjan Lata, said that she has been working continuously for the environment for the last three years and her school has been selected under the ‘Green Program’ for three consecutive years.
