Safety concerns related to paragliding
Himachal Pradesh has witnessed more than seven paragliding accidents in the last one and a half years, in which some foreign tourists have also died. In this context, a temporary ban was imposed on paragliding at the Gadsa paragliding site in January 2023 due to safety violations, which was lifted in February 2023.
This accident gives another serious indication of the safety standards, which need to be improved.
