Sirmaur, Sourabh Jaiswal: Villagers protested in Gram Panchayat Dobari Salwala under Paonta Sahib of Sirmaur district late on Wednesday evening.

Villagers say that a proposal was passed in the Gram Sabha demanding separation of the Panchayat, but the Panchayat Pradhan and Secretary are not giving the copy of the proposal to the villagers.

Local villagers said that due to non-receipt of the copy of the proposal, the process of separating the Panchayat is hanging in balance.

Villagers said that a request has been made to the SDM and BDO regarding this problem, but no solution has been found.

They said that if a copy of the proposal is not made available to them within a week, then they will be forced to stage a fierce protest.
