Hamirpur: Program organized in Sujanpur on the occasion of Army Day, sacrifice of Indian soldiers was remembered
Sujanpur (Hamirpur), Sourabh Jaiswal: On the occasion of Army Day, a program was organized by Sarv Kalyankari Trust in Sujanpur.
Former Union Minister and MP Anurag Singh Thakur and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur were specially present on this occasion.
The ceremony was presided over by retired Lieutenant General BS Jaswal.
On this occasion, Anurag Singh Thakur said that the brave sons of Himachal have made a valuable contribution in the independence of the country. He said that twenty-one islands in the country have been named after four brave sons of Himachal, which is a matter of pride for us.
Meanwhile, former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked at every level to overcome the challenge of the army in the country. He said that the Prime Minister has resolved every problem of the soldiers including the problem of modernization of their service, personal life allowances and pension.
Jairam Thakur has termed the Congress government of the state as a failure on every front.
Jairam Thakur said that development work in the state has come to a complete standstill and people are being burdened with additional inflation. He said that if elections were held in the state today, Congress would not even be able to cross the double digit mark.
