Bilaspur, Sourabh Jaiswal: All India Kisan Sabha Himachal Pradesh State President K.K. Kaushal says that the farmers of the state had taken loans from Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank but these farmers have not been able to return the loan yet and now the concerned bank has issued notices to confiscate the land of the farmers, due to which the farmers are upset.

All India Kisan Sabha sent a memorandum to the Chief Minister – demanded one time settlement for repayment of agricultural loans

The bank management has asked the farmers to return this loan with the interest by 31 January, but many farmers have been unable to return these loans. They have demanded from the state government that the loans of the farmers should be resolved under one time settlement and the time limit for repaying the loan should be extended.

On Wednesday, the affected farmers, led by Kisan Sabha, sent a memorandum to the Chief Minister through ADC Bilaspur regarding their demands.

The farmers have demanded one time settlement from the state government and increased the time period for loan repayment.
