Chaupal, Sourabh Jaiswal: People are facing a lot of problems due to the toilet facility being shut down in the Nagar Panchayat Nerwa of Chaupal assembly.

The toilet built at the old bus stand is spreading disease in the entire market. The situation is such that on one hand people are forced to defecate in the open, on the other hand, the nearby dhabas and shops are on the verge of closure due to the dirt of the dilapidated toilets.

Local people say that there is an electricity department office right next to the toilet where the employees have to sit and it is becoming difficult for people to reach there.

On this subject, Babita Tangraik, President of Nerwa Nagar Panchayat, says that both the toilets of the market are under Chanju Panchayat.

She said that one toilet of the market is in a bad condition and the Gram Panchayat has locked the other one.

She accused the Gram Panchayat and said that neither the Panchayat is running it for the convenience of the people nor does it bring it under the Nagar Panchayat, due to which common people are facing problems.
