Atal Tunnel Rohtang
Manali (Kullu), (Himachal Pradesh) [India], January 13 (Diary Times): Atal Tunnel Rohtang, which was closed for common vehicles due to snowfall and black ice, has been restored for all types of vehicles after almost a week. On Monday, all vehicles from Manali were sent towards Atal Tunnel. Tourists had a lot of fun in the snow at the North Portal, South Portal, Dhundhi of the tunnel. Solanganala also became crowded with tourists.
Atal Tunnel was closed for the last one week due to snowfall and black ice. Only four by four vehicles were being sent towards the tunnel. After the weather cleared on Monday, the barrier installed in Solanganala has been removed.

All types of vehicles were allowed to go towards Atal Tunnel. However, tourists are going towards the tunnel only after 12 o’clock. Due to this, there is a fear of vehicles skidding on the black ice on the road.
Police station in-charge Manish said that on Monday all types of vehicles were sent towards Atal Tunnel. Tourists are allowed to go only after 12 o’clock in the morning. Also, they are being instructed to return to Manali before 4 o’clock.
