Himachal BJP to Get New, Strong, and Experienced State President: Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan
Shimla, (Himachal Pradesh) [India], January 12 (Diary Times): Addressing the program of Kumarsain Student Welfare Association at Gaiety Theater in Shimla, Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan said that BJP will soon get a powerful, strong and better state president. Under his leadership, the party will aim to win more than 60 seats in the next assembly elections.
Mahajan attacked the current Congress party government of the state and said that the Sukhu government has proved to be a complete failure in the state. He also claimed that the future of students is in danger under the rule of the current Congress government. “This government is forcing the students to struggle for their future on their own. The Congress government has completely failed in fulfilling its guarantees.” He said in his statement.
Mahajan said that the guarantees given by the Congress party before the elections have been locked. He said sarcastically that this lock is bigger than the guarantees because this government has also locked all the progressive works in the state.
He targeted Chief Minister Sukhu and said that his statements is different everywhere. The Chief Minister says something else in Lahaul-Spiti and his statements changes as soon as he reaches Shimla. This instability is also reflected in his policies and guarantees.

Mahajan alleged that the government has betrayed the youth and employees. The services of 132 employees deployed on outsourcing in IGMC have been terminated. This government which came to power by promising to give 5 lakh jobs is now working to snatch 1 lakh jobs.
He said that the Sukhu government had promised that every family will get 300 units of free electricity, farmers will get their rights and women will be given Rs 1500 every month, but none of this was fulfilled.
Mahajan alleged a deep crisis in the Congress party. He said that the infighting in the Congress party is at its peak. The fight for leadership has now reached the streets. The fight of Congress on every platform and every square has become public.
Mahajan said in his address that the BJP is preparing for the upcoming elections with full strength. He claimed that the BJP will get new, strong and experienced leadership in Himachal which will lead the party to a historic victory.
Harsh Mahajan said that the people of the state are very angry with the Congress government. He expressed confidence that the BJP will give a befitting reply to the Congress with the strength of its organization and the support of the people.
